Job Description

Role Summary/Purpose:
The Data Quality Analyst will report to the VP, Lead Data Strategist of the Salesforce Effectiveness Team within the GTM Organization. The primary purpose of this role is to manage data quality for GTM business platforms, provide analytical support to business projects that affect the GTM organization.
Essential skills include (1) the ability to perform data quality checks and capture definitions and lineage on data from complex, relational data environments such as Oracle and Salesforce, (2) selecting and utilizing the right analytical tools to generate insights, (3) making fact-based, pragmatic recommendations based on a thorough understanding of the business, and (4) collaborating with business leaders from across the business to implement recommendations. The primary objective of this role is to partner with GTM leadership to improve the accuracy, consistency, completeness, and quality of the data used by GTM and commercial teams.
Essential Responsibilities:
Data Management
Manage data quality across Salesforce and Rapid databases.
Preform data cleansing, deduplication, ensuring integrity and compliance.
Assemble data sets from a complex data environment (i.e., relational database) using SQL, SAS, Python
Documentation
Ensure data fields are properly defined with lineage across Salesforce and Rapid databases.
Create and maintain process guides, user manuals, and data documents.
Reporting and Analytics
Perform analytics to glean insights from large data sets.
Prepare accurate data sets for loading into various data warehouses.
Others
Present complex analytical information succinctly and clearly to all levels of management
Partner and collaborate effectively with the business.
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in STEM or related quantitative field. In lieu of degree, a high school diploma/GED and 7+ years of analytics work experience.
3+ years of SQL, SAS and Python coding within a complex data environment
3+ years of experience in a data analytics role, with a strong emphasis in the utilization of complex analytical methods and quantitative/statistical modeling
Demonstrated proficiency in MS Excel (e.g., pivot tables, filters, database functions, etc.)
Proficiency in database administration, RDBMS, and data governance.
Experience with implementing data governance and quality in Salesforce and/or Oracle/ SQL Server databases.
Desired Characteristics:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., mathematics, statistics, economics)
Financial Services industry experience.
5+ years of coding experience (e.g., SAS, python, R).
Data Governance and Quality implementation experience.
Excellent organization skills and strong attention to detail.
Proficient in Salesforce objects, data and force.com databases.
Ability to clearly explain technical and analytical information (verbally, written, and in presentation form) and summarize for key stakeholders.
