About the Role

The purpose of this role is to design, implement, and optimise data models, data structures, and integration processes that support the organisation's analytical and reporting capabilities within the global enterprise data warehouse environment. The Data Warehouse Modeler is responsible for translating business requirements into scalable and efficient data warehouse designs, ensuring that data is structured to enable accurate reporting, analysis, and decision-making. The role includes designing and developing semantic and tabular models that provide a business-friendly data layer, supporting efficient and self-service analytics across the organisation.



This role will work closely with business stakeholders, business analysts, data quality, data assurance, and reporting teams to deliver dimensional models, fact/dimension structures, and data marts. The position contributes to the ongoing improvement of data quality, performance, and governance across the enterprise data platform. The Data Warehouse Modeler will empower internal stakeholders by providing well-structured, reliable, and accessible data models that support self-service analytics and business intelligence initiatives. Ensure that data models are aligned with business definitions and enable accurate, efficient, and self-service analytics.

Technical Skills

Experience with dimensional modelling (star, snowflake schemas) and data warehouse design methodologies Strong proficiency in SQL and database design principles.

Knowledge of ETL/ELT development and integration with modelling requirements. Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms. Experience working with data modelling tools. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for data projects. Understanding data governance practices including metadata management, data quality and master data management. Experience with automated testing frameworks to validate data integrity, accuracy, and performance of ETL pipelines and models. Experience in the design, implementation, and optimisation of scalable data warehouse structures, dimensional models and semantic/tabular models. Soft
