About the Role
LSEG Data & Analytics are seeking a Data Trust Enterprise Data Asset Senior Manager to drive the discovery, capture, and maintenance of the physical, business context, and data governance metadata of our commercial data pipelines -- the same pipelines that power our flagship market data products.
Your mission: to lead a diverse team of 25+ data lineage engineers, analysts, and specialists in building the Data Trust Asset -- a metadata and lineage platform that accompanies our data products, giving customers transparency, confidence, and ease of use. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of 25+ engineers, analysts, and specialists within the Data Trust programme.
- Drive the discovery and capture of lineage across existing commercial data pipelines, producing authoritative metadata assets.
- Ensure reference data and metadata are tightly connected, enabling customer transparency and easier product consumption.
- Apply strong but pragmatic data governance controls across cloud and on-prem environments.
- Build reporting and insights capabilities over the enterprise data asset, providing actionable value to internal teams and customers.
- Partner with product and sales teams to embed metadata transparency into customer-facing data products and services.
- Architect solutions using Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, and related ecosystems.
- Lead problem-solving and data model design for large-scale, complex financial data assets.
- Bring in AI/LLM-driven automation for metadata capture, content generation, and stitching lineage to reference data.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10-15 years' experience in data analysis, governance, architecture, and data strategy.
- Proven leadership of large, multi-disciplinary teams (20+ members).
- Expertise in metadata management, forensic lineage discovery, and reference data integration.
- Strong knowledge of hybrid data stacks (cloud and on-premise) and productivity and SDLC tooling, including Jira, Github/DXOne.
- Demonstrated success in building customer-facing data solutions.
- Hands-on expertise with lineage tooling, and Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric.
- Familiarity with AI/LLM applications for metadata and governance.
- Deep understanding of financial services and market data ecosystems.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging teams, internal stakeholders, and customers.
- An authentic leader with energy, empathy, and the ability to inspire trust.
Why Join Us?
- Lead a flagship initiative at the heart of a global market data leader.
