Job Summary:





We are seeking a detail-oriented and data-savvy Analyst to oversee the governance, development, and ongoing management of our account segmentation strategy and account master data. This role will play a critical part in ensuring accurate, consistent, and meaningful account information across our CRM, reporting platforms, and business processes. The ideal candidate has experience working with large datasets, cross-functional teams, and understands the strategic importance of account structure in go-to-market execution and performance measurement.



Key Responsibilities:



Own the account master data management process, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and consistency across systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, BI tools). Develop and maintain account segmentation models that align with sales strategy, marketing initiatives, and business priorities. Partner with Sales, Marketing, Pricing, Finance, and Data Warehouse teams to define and refine account hierarchies, territory mapping, and segmentation logic (e.g., industry, size, geography, GTM). Identify duplicate or conflicting account records and drive remediation efforts. Support MDM initiatives and implement account governance frameworks, including naming conventions, account types, parent/child relationships, and unique identifiers. Generate reports and dashboards to provide visibility into account health, segmentation coverage, and master data quality. Serve as the point of contact for account-related data issues, change requests, and continuous improvement initiatives. Document data definitions, standards, and workflows related to account management and segmentation.




Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 2-4 years of experience in data analysis, sales operations, or CRM/MDM administration. Strong knowledge of CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics), data tools (e.g., Excel, SQL), and BI/reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Familiarity with account hierarchies, segmentation frameworks, and master data principles. Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving capabilities. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions and influence without authority. Experience with data governance, process documentation, and data quality monitoring is a plus.




Preferred Qualifications:



Experience in B2B environments with complex customer hierarchies. Understanding of sales motions (e.g., direct, channel, enterprise, SMB) and how they impact segmentation. Experience with data stewardship or MDM platforms (e.g., Informatica, Reltio, Oracle CDM).
