Data Scientist

Job Type- Contract

Duration- 3 months with possible extension as per the performance.

Work mode- onsite(5.5 days in a week)

Location - Hyderabad

We're looking for a

multi-skilled Data Scientist

. This strategic role involves driving

digital transformation initiatives

across sales, procurement, supply chain, and CXO-level decision support.

You'll work on end-to-end development of projects such as

predictive models

,

weather-linked demand forecasting

,

pricing algorithms

,

logistics optimization

,

mobile app analytics

,

gamification

, and

stakeholder dashboards

.

Key Responsibilities

Forecasting & Predictive Modelling:

Build demand and price prediction models for dairy and agri-based products.

Logistics Optimization:

Develop algorithms for route planning and vehicle utilization using optimization techniques.

Analytics & Insights:

Create dashboards and generate insights from CRM, ERP, GPS, and app data.

Gamification & App Analytics:

Collaborate with mobile and marketing teams to enhance user engagement.

Cloud & Data Engineering:

Automate data pipelines (Python + SQL) and deploy models on cloud platforms.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Partner with business leaders to define problems, present analytical solutions, and promote adoption.

Skills & Competencies

Must Have:

Python, SQL, Machine Learning, Time-Series Forecasting, Power BI, Optimization Models

Preferred:

Cloud platforms (AWS), Firebase/App Analytics Tools, Google OR-Tools/PuLP, Gamification Concepts

Bonus:

R, NLP/CV, Deep Learning, APIs for weather/inventory

Qualification

B.Tech/M.Tech/M.Sc. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related fields Certifications in Python, ML, or Cloud preferred MBA or business exposure is a plus

Ideal Candidate

3-6 years of experience in data science roles Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Hands-on experience in forecasting, optimization, app analytics, and dashboards Independent contributor with cross-functional collaboration skills
