About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Data Scientist
to join our team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates who are passionate about analytics, machine learning, and data-driven decision-making. You will work closely with senior team members to support data modeling, analysis, and insight generation across projects.
Key Responsibilities:
? Collect, clean, and prepare datasets for analysis and modeling
? Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify key trends and insights
? Assist in building, training, and evaluating machine learning models
? Support feature engineering and model optimization
? Work with Python, SQL, and common data science libraries (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-Learn)
? Contribute to dashboards and visualizations using Power BI or Tableau (optional but beneficial).
? Translate business requirements into analytical tasks with guidance
? Maintain documentation for data processes, model assumptions, and findings
? Support automation of recurring data and reporting tasks
? Stay updated with new tools, frameworks, and techniques in data science.
Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of Python and ML libraries
Basic understanding of machine learning and statistical modeling
Ability to write and interpret SQL queries
Familiarity with data preprocessing and evaluation techniques
Exposure to NLP, deep learning, or cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus
General Skills:
Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
Good communication and presentation skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Eagerness to learn, adapt, and explore new technologies
Education:
Master's degree is mandatory
M.Sc. (Data Science / Statistics / Mathematics / Computer Science)
M.Tech. / M.E. in relevant fields
MBA (Business Analytics / Operations / Information Systems) --
Preferred
Other equivalent postgraduate degrees in analytics, AI/ML, or quantitative domains.
Experience:
