The primary role of the programmer is to develop, maintain and deploy a set of computational/data analysis tools and capabilities that are critical to the discovery and development of modalities covered by the Lilly Genetic Medicine group (siRNA/RNA editing/gene editing). Play a critical role in the development of RNA informatics and computational platform from discovery to development. Develop/improve/maintain computational capabilities to support data integration and data visualization of ongoing projects. Develop/improve/maintain computational capabilities to support discovery projects through data analysis and algorithm development Contribute to the off-target and RNASeq data analysis by providing capabilities for data integration and data analysis Participate in the evaluation of external and internal capabilities and facilitate collaborations with external parties Experience with artificial intelligence principles, applications, and software implementation. Coding skills, especially in Python, R and perl Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work productively in an interdisciplinary environment. Successful interaction with senior technical engineering and scientific personnel. Experience working in a diverse networked technical organization with proven skills to manage suppliers and alliance partners. B. S./M. S. in computational chemistry / cheminformatics / computer sciences / statistics / mathematics or a related field At least 2 years of working experience in developing/implementing scientific tools for drug discovery efforts
