About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Data Scientist with strong expertise in Price Optimization/Price Elasticity Modeling/Inventory Optimization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing and deploying forecasting models across domains, leveraging advanced analytics and cloud-based platforms to drive business impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement price elasticity and price optimization models to maximize revenue and profitability. Design and optimize inventory forecasting models to improve demand planning and reduce stock-outs/overstocks. Work on end-to-end model lifecycle: data preparation, feature engineering, model development, validation, deployment, and monitoring. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business, product, engineering) to translate requirements into scalable data science solutions. Leverage Azure Databricks, ADF, and Azure ML for building, training, and deploying ML models. Handle large-scale datasets using Python (Pandas, NumPy, PySpark) and distributed computing frameworks. Continuously enhance models through retraining, automation, and performance optimization.

Required Skills & Experience:

3-6 years of hands-on experience in Data Science & Machine Learning. Proven expertise in Price Optimization/Price Elasticity/Inventory Optimization. Strong knowledge of Forecasting techniques (Time-Series, Regression, ML-based forecasting). Mandatory experience in end-to-end model development and deployment. Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, PySpark) and SQL. Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud ecosystem (Databricks, ADF, Azure ML). * Strong understanding of statistical concepts, ML algorithms, and optimization methods.
