Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Research and develop statistical learning models for data analysis.
- Collaborate with different departments to understand the company needs and devise practical solutions.
- Analyzing the deep learning algorithms that could be used to solve a given problem and ranking them by their success probabilities.
- Investigating data to obtain an understanding of it, post which identifying differences in data distribution that could affect performance when deploying the model in the real world.
- Defining validation framework and establish a process to ensure acceptable data quality criteria.
- Communicate results and ideas to key decision makers.
- Implement new statistical or other mathematical methodologies as needed for specific analysis.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied math or related field.
- Practical experience with SAS, ETL, data processing, database programming and data analytics.
- Extensive background in data mining and statistical analysis.
- Experienced in creating machine learning and artificial intelligence.
- Excellent pattern recognition and predictive modeling skills
- Well versed with programming languages such as Java/Python.
