Build and implement technology and solutions using data science particularly in the area of detection of content issues. Domain knowledge in any of Fixed Income. Corporate Actions, Deals and Lipper content sets would be a bonus in order to address problem areas.
Role Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:
- Use data science to identify problem areas in realtime with triggers generated to production teams for investigation. Use trend analysis and pattern recognition on new issues volumes as well as case volumes.
-Support projects, demonstrate technical expertise to remove roadblocks and find creative solutions to prevent future reoccurrence.
- Create compelling proposals with technologists and business to drive innovation from conception to production with appropriate success metrics.
-Incorporates domain expertise in financial market content into the solutions. Writes highly optimised code for solutions.
Knowledge & Skills:

• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, model building, and evaluation
• Knowledge of neural networks and deep learning frameworks
• Extensive experience using Python or R or equivalent
• Skills in transforming and preparing data for model training
• Proficient in using tools and libraries such as scikit-learn, numpy, pandas and jupyter
• Solid relational database skills
• Solid understanding of statistics and statistical language such as R
• Ability to handle large quantities of data
• Narrate stories (to technical and mostly non-technical audience) about our content and processes by data analysis and visualization
• Strong written, communication and presentation skills. Able to respond and present work to peers, senior management and other stakeholders

Qualification:
Higher education in Statistics, Mathematics or Engineering in Computer Science with Data science certification
