Job Description

Solves complex problems and help stakeholders make data- driven decisions by leveraging quantitative methods, such as machine learning. It often involves synthesizing large volume of information and extracting signals from data in a programmatic way.

Roles & Responsibility:

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Statistics, Data Preparation & Exploration:

Perform data cleaning, transformation, feature engineering, and validation to prepare datasets for modeling. Conduct Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and correlations. Apply foundational statistical techniques such as hypothesis testing, probability distributions, regression analysis, sampling methods, and confidence intervals. Assist in developing reproducible data workflows and ensuring data quality and integrity.

Data Visualization & Reporting

Create clear and insightful data visualizations using Python libraries (matplotlib, seaborn, plotly) or dashboard tools. Summarize findings in reports and presentations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Support the creation of visual stories for product metrics, experiments, and model performance.

SQL & Data Retrieval

Use SQL to query, aggregate, join, and filter data from relational databases. Collaborate with data platform teams to understand schemas and extract datasets efficiently. Build and optimize queries for ad hoc analysis, prototype features, and model preparation.

Machine Learning & Analytics:

Assist in developing supervised and unsupervised learning models such as classification, regression, clustering, and time-series forecasting. Support feature engineering, hyperparameter tuning, and model evaluation using standard metrics. Document experiments and help improve model accuracy and reliability under guidance.

AI & Generative AI Support:

Contribute to early-stage work using Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, and agent-based AI for automation and insights extraction. Assist with prompt design, API integration, fine-tuning small models, and testing prototypes. Deep Learning & Computer Vision (Foundational Support)

Data Engineering & ML Workflows:

Work with data engineers to understand data pipelines and cloud storage systems. Assist in setting up notebooks, scripts, or light automation for ML workflows. Follow best practices for version control, documentation, and reproducibility.

Collaboration & Communication

Partner with product, engineering, and business teams to gather requirements and deliver insights.

Desired Candidate Profile:

EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

5 years of experience in machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, or applied AI. Strong foundation in statistics, probability, and data analysis methods. Good working knowledge of Python, SQL, and ML libraries such as pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, and matplotlib. Familiarity with EDA, visualization best practices, and basic ML model development. Basic understanding of deep learning frameworks (PyTorch or TensorFlow). Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
