As a Data Scientist I, you will sit at the intersection of Product, Compliance, and Technology. You won't just be pulling data; you will be acting as a detective and a scientist--designing experiments to test new features, analyzing complex regulatory datasets, and telling the story behind the numbers to business leaders.

What You'll Do

Drive Experimentation: You will help enhance our A/B testing capabilities, designing experiments that balance user experience growth with regulatory compliance and risk management. End-to-End Ownership: You will take ownership of your solutions--from gathering requirements and writing complex SQL queries to building models and visualizing results. Uncover Insights: You will dive deep into our banking data to find patterns and insights that challenge assumptions and shape how we roll out our banking license. Tell Data Stories: You will collaborate closely with non-technical stakeholders (Compliance, Product, Leadership), translating complex statistical outcomes into clear, actionable business advice. Uphold Quality: You will work within a supportive team environment, engaging in peer reviews and ensuring our work meets the high standards required for a regulated financial entity.

Who You Are

The Analyst: You have a 2+ years solid foundation in statistics and mathematics. You understand the "why" behind the numbers (e.g., hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, bias). The Techie: You are proficient in SQL (you can handle messy data) and Python/R for analysis and modeling. The Communicator: You are comfortable explaining technical concepts to business partners. You know how to tailor your message depending on whether you are talking to a Data Engineer or a Product Manager. The Learner: You are curious about FinTech and the "larger picture." You are eager to learn from senior peers and expand your technical toolkit. The Team Player: You value collaboration over competition. You thrive in an environment where knowledge sharing and peer feedback are the norm.

Bonus Points

Experience or strong interest in FinTech, Banking, or Payments. Experience with A/B testing platforms or Causal Inference techniques. Familiarity with regulatory environments or risk modeling.
