• Summary

Design and develop new methodologies, quantitative models, analysis and commentary (as relevant) that enhance existing or new processes. Maintain existing product performance and independent analysis standards. Internally, work with various departments to grow new ideas and expand the scope of existing products.

• Data handling, data processing and programming
• Develop automated solutions for sourcing
• Analyze content to establish patterns/trends
• Develop, improve and run quantitative models
• Generate solutions through machine learning for core processes
• Work with business, content and product groups for large-scale analytics problems
• Build POCs, visualizations and pipeline tools for product design and development
• Work with development groups for deployment of analytics solutions
• Interact with other internal teams as needed, with supervision.

Knowledge & Skill :

• Extensive experience using Python or R or equivalent
• Proficient in using tools and libraries such as scikit-learn, numpy, pandas and jupyter
• Solid relational database skills
• Solid understanding of statistics and statistical language such as R
• Ability to handle large quantities of data
• Narrate stories (to technical and mostly non-technical audience) about our content and processes by data analysis and visualization
• Strong written, communication and presentation skills. Able to respond and present work to peers, senior management and other stakeholders

Qualification:

• Higher education in Statistics, Mathematics or Engineering in Computer Science with Data science certification

Desired Skills:

• 3+ years of Data Science project experience in Finance domain is preferred

• Role , Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:
• Deliver Business process improvements resulting in efficiency and quality via automations and simplifications within Operations.
• Gathering and writing Requirements for Automation and Simplification projects.
• Deliver automation solutions using technical skills/software development and document the same.
• Provide expertise and creativity in developing new methods of working which focus on cost effectiveness & resource efficiency.
• Build talent pool of Citizen Developers by providing training and on the job assistance.
• Develop expertise on new content management tools & infrastructure and implement the same in the operations processes.
• Provide specifications for the new technology solutions & infrastructures, helping for the implementations, monitoring & testing.
• Lead, Manage and Partner with Specialists, Team Managers and SMEs to deliver automation projects.
• Collaborate with Development/Technology and Operations teams to lead and deliver on strategic fix around any major business requirements.
• Experience and high level of expertise in all aspects of project & program life cycles; ability to operate in waterfall or agile approach.
• A proven track record of delivering projects on time, on scope and on specifications; including prioritization and requirements alignment across competing demand from Stakeholders.

Required Skills:

• Expertise in Python and track record of development/ delivering automations using Python and R.
• Should be proficient with using at least one of the technologies like VBA, SQL, JAVA, RPA etc to drive the culture of Business Process Improvements.
• Data Science knowledge.
• Exposure to management of financial content.
• Should be able to adopt new technologies quickly and be able to mentor others in the team.

Desired Skills:

• Has prior experience in data mining, data sourcing, NLP, Unsupervised learning, Deep learning and building Predictive model.
• Knowledge of AWS and other cloud-based capabilities for onboarding of Python Codes.

Education:

• Data Science Certification or
• Degree in Software Engineering or
• Degree in computer science discipline or
• Any Degree along with expertise in programming languages like Python , VBA , SQL etc.
