We are seeking a high-energy, technically proficient
Data Science Trainer
who is passionate about "learning by doing." At Modulation Digital, we don't just teach formulas; we build solutions. You will be responsible for mentoring students through the end-to-end data lifecycle--from data scraping and cleaning to deploying machine learning models into production.
Key Responsibilities
Practical Delivery:
Conduct live, hands-on training sessions focusing on Python, SQL, and Machine Learning libraries.
Project Mentorship:
Lead students through real-world capstone projects (e.g., E-commerce recommendation engines, Sentiment analysis, or Predictive maintenance).
Curriculum Building:
Update and refine the syllabus to include the latest industry tools like Git/GitHub, Docker, and Cloud Deployment (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Code Review:
Provide detailed feedback on student code to ensure industry-standard best practices (PEP 8).
Assessments:
Design practical lab exams and "hackathons" to test students' problem-solving skills.
Technical Skills Required
Core:
Python (Expertise in Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib/Seaborn).
Database:
Advanced SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
ML/DL:
Strong grip on Supervised/Unsupervised learning and an intro to Neural Networks.
Production:
Experience with Flask, FastAPI, or Streamlit for model deployment.
Tools:
Jupyter Notebooks, VS Code, and Version Control (Git).
Qualifications
Experience:
Minimum [X] years of experience working as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst.
Portfolio:
A strong GitHub profile or Kaggle record is highly preferred.
Communication:
Ability to explain complex concepts (like Gradient Descent or P-values) in a simple, relatable way.
