Sabre D&A Team

This position is opened in Data Product and Business Intelligence Applications team in Sabre Data and Analytics org. The team works on product development in the area of Data analytics, more on descriptive analytics and moving towards predictive analytics. The prime objective is to get data from multiple sources and provide data insight to customers in the form of reports, charts, dashboards etc. The team works on the BigData Tools and Technologies like Hadoop, Vertica, Talend, AWS Glue, AWS Redshift, GCP BigQuery, GCP Airflow, Dataflow, GCP Looker, Cognos etc.

Job Title:- Data science Engineering

Design, develop and maintain analytics applications, where security, extensibility, performance, reliability and scalability, are critical design goals

Requirements

3 + years Experience in developing and maintaining applications in BigData area, with exposure to GCP tools and Services.

Required Experience:

Must have development experience in working on applications in the following areas

Columnar Database preferably in GCP (BigQuery) /Vertica/ Redshift, Teradata

ETL Tools Preferable GCP (Apache Beam/Airflow/DataFlow/DataProc)

Python/Java

Hadoop

BI Reporting tool (Cognos/Looker)

(Optional) GCP Certification:

o Google Associate Cloud Engineer

o Google Data Engineer

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience working with Agile development methodologies and Test-Driven Development

Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
