Trojan Technologies is seeking an experienced

Data Protection & Recovery Specialist

to manage enterprise-level data backup, disaster recovery, and cyber-resilience operations. The ideal candidate will work with industry-leading technologies to ensure data integrity, availability, and security across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Backup & Recovery Solutions:

Design and deploy enterprise backup systems (Dell NetWorker, Veeam, Commvault, NetBackup). Optimize backup schedules and policies (Full, Incremental, Differential). Manage backup storage across disk, tape, and cloud environments. Validate backup and restoration processes, perform regular restore drills, and maintain reporting compliance.
Cloud Data Protection:

Configure and manage Azure Backup, AWS Backup, and hybrid cloud recovery solutions. Implement data lifecycle and archival policies using S3, Blob, or Glacier. Deploy and maintain backup solutions for Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments. Disaster Recovery (DR) & Business Continuity: Develop and document DR strategies and architecture. Manage replication technologies (VMware SRM, Veeam Replication, Azure Site Recovery). Conduct DR drills, failover testing, and ensure RPO/RTO objectives are met. Create and maintain DR runbooks and automation workflows.
Cyber Recovery & Ransomware Protection:

Design and operate Cyber Recovery Vaults (Dell Cyber Vault, etc.). Configure immutable backups (Data Domain Retention Lock, S3 Object Lock). Establish air-gapped recovery environments and ransomware recovery playbooks. Perform cyber recovery testing and compliance validation. We're looking for an experienced professional to manage enterprise-level data backup, disaster recovery, and cyber resilience solutions. You'll work on technologies like Veeam, Commvault, Dell NetWorker, NetBackup, Azure, and AWS to ensure business data integrity, availability, and security.
