The Role Responsibilities Strategy We are looking for a Product Engineering Specialist. The Engineering Specialist will review the Data and Privacy Transformation Programme requirements around Privacy and be able to solutionise and implement. The position will be responsible for consulting on development, implementation, maintenance and execution of the solution, from both documentation and technical delivery perspective. This role will also require coordinate with multiple business areas within and outside the Data and Privacy Programme Team to ensure privacy requirements are effectively implemented to promote compliance objectives. Business Collaborate with data product development teams creating new uses of data that employ privacy features. Interacting with internal privacy program managers, product development teams, legal, compliance, governance and data protection teams. Responsible for assisting with the management of the data privacy, data protection, data usability, performance and the integrity of the privacy solution. Interact with users to define system requirements and / or necessary modifications to new or existing software. Guide the development of new privacy products and features. Processes Partner with key business areas, in particular the Infrastructure and Application onboarding requirements, to ensure solution design elements are considered at the outset of new projects, products and initiatives. Develop and maintain relevant detailed technical solution and be able to articulate how the solution aligns with the data privacy requirements and policies. Establish and manage tools and develop run books for managing technical implementation of privacy by design and operational workflows. Monitor the industry landscape to keep visibility on evolutions, trends, and best practices related to Data Privacy and its Technology. Working knowledge on data sets, Providing technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing. Provide technical privacy guidance, analysis, and feedback to business, developers and work with application architects. Keep under constant review the data privacy solutions both from business and technical standpoint. Serving as a subject matter expert both from data privacy and its related technology perspective. Assessing tests and implementing new or upgraded software and assisting with solution design. Handle enquiries and issues relating to data privacy solutions implemented and in pipeline. Setting up processes and systems to make working with data more efficient. Implements and maintains privacy solution (technology) for the Bank. Developing and delivering a robust solution. Researching new ways to make use of data. Troubleshooting the technical solutions. Regulatory and Business Conduct Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group\'s Values and Code of Conduct. Demonstrate experience of managing data privacy solutions in a global organisation. Demonstrate good knowledge of data privacy, data handling and data classification. Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines and manage own workload. Excellent writing, organisational and problem-solving skills. Must have experience working in a global organization. Strong client service orientation. Technical and Personal skills. Strong attention to detail. High work standards.
