JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Platform Consultant to join an ongoing project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and DevOps practices. You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data pipelines, ensuring seamless data integration, and delivering actionable business insights through powerful data visualizations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design and build scalable data processing solutions using Azure Databricks and Microsoft Fabric. Implement and manage data integration pipelines, transformations, and storage using best practices in data engineering. Create, deploy, and manage Power BI reports and dashboards for business stakeholders. Apply DevOps principles to manage infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, and environment management across the data platform stack. Collaborate closely with project stakeholders, data analysts, and engineers to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Ensure data quality, performance optimization, and security compliance. Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing support for deployed solutions.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

3-7+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics roles. Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake, etc.). Proven expertise with Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Dataflows, Pipelines, Lakehouse, etc.). Proficiency in Power BI for data modeling and visualization. Solid understanding of DevOps practices: CI/CD pipelines, GitHub/GitLab, Azure DevOps, Terraform/Bicep or ARM templates. Familiarity with modern data architectures including lakehouses and data mesh principles. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced delivery environments. * Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
