Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement data models for both
OLTP (transactional)
and
OLAP (analytical)
systems.
Develop and maintain
Conceptual, Logical, and Physical data models
.
Apply advanced techniques such as
indexing, data partitioning, and sharding
to optimize performance.
Identify and optimize variables affecting
database performance
for real-time reporting and high-throughput applications.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient data structures.
Work closely with application developers and data engineers to ensure models are aligned with system architecture.
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven hands-on experience in
data modeling
for complex systems.
Strong understanding of
indexing, partitioning, and sharding
strategies with practical implementation exposure.
Expertise in performance tuning and designing for
high concurrency and real-time access

Proficiency in at least one
data modeling tool
, preferably
Erwin
or
DBSchema
.
Solid knowledge of
GCP databases
, including:
AlloyDB
(PostgreSQL-compatible)
Cloud SQL
(MySQL/PostgreSQL)
BigQuery
(OLAP)
Preferred Qualifications:
Functional knowledge of the
mutual fund or financial services industry
is a strong advantage.
Experience in
cloud-native architecture

data governance
practices is desirable.
