ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Overall Responsibility The Data Auditor is responsible for partnering with stakeholders to analyze needs and recommend solutions to help execute audit activities in the most effective way across the enterprise. They will perform audit assignments which involve research and analysis of the policy and procedures, and an evaluation and selection of appropriate audit approach, procedures and sampling criteria based on professional judgment and defined process steps Specific Responsibilities: ? Conducts assessment and ensures compliance of data governance policy and implementation ? Data compliance and performance is measured and issues are identified for remediation. ? Through data auditing, ensures results in better data quality, which enables enhanced data quality and analytics to improve operations ? Perform data analysis on our core systems to identify potential and emerging risks and/or control deficiencies and produce trending analysis reports ? Plans the scope of the audit, prepares the audit program, and determines the appropriate auditing procedures and examination techniques to be applied ? Perform compliance audit activities through the day-to-day, hands-on execution of assigned audits

• Lend support to various business and technology teams as necessary during project delivery.
• Communicate effectively in both verbal (i.e. day\xe2\x80\x93to\xe2\x80\x93day discussions, team meetings) and written (requirements and design specifications) form, as well as have an overall ability to be clear and concise in all communications.
• Accurately assess the risks associated with each solution design/project.

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Business or IT
• 5-8 years of experience working as a Data Auditor, Senior Data Analyst
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Respect and protect the confidentiality of information obtained during the development of the analytics and audits
• Conduct market data audits at end client and market data vendor sites, using best practice guidelines to identify discrepancies in end user entitlement and reporting processes
• Deliver on time high quality data audit reports and governance committee reporting
• Develop and maintain effective internal and external working relationships and ensure that expectations are managed throughout the audit process
• Grow and maintain knowledge levels of real time and end of day market data policies end-users requirements
• Responsible for assessing the quality of the data attributes used for data auditing
• Effectively manage multiple data audit priorities.
• Good understanding of database concepts like views, materialized views, primary keys, table joins
• Strong data analysis, process analysis skills.
