They ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security, often handling sensitive information and adhering to data privacy protocols. They may also perform general administrative tasks, assist with reporting, and collaborate with team members to optimize data management processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Entry and Verification: Inputting data from various sources (paper documents, electronic files, etc.) into computer systems, databases, or spreadsheets.
Data Accuracy and Integrity: Verifying data for errors, inconsistencies, and completeness, and correcting any discrepancies.
Data Maintenance: Updating and maintaining existing data records, ensuring information is current and accurate.
Database Management: Organizing and maintaining electronic files and records, ensuring data is easily accessible and retrievable.
Reporting and Analysis: Assisting with generating reports based on data input and analysis.
