Responsibilities
As a Data Governance Specialist, you will:

• Design and implement robust data governance frameworks, standards, and policies in alignment with global regulations.
• Ensure data quality, security, and privacy standards are met across comprehensive data systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including analytics, operations, and IT teams, to improve data management processes.
• Identify data inconsistencies and lead efforts for resolution.
• Lead data quality assessments, monitoring, and reporting for compliance and optimization.
• Oversee metadata management and improve data lineage tracking.
• Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and data governance strategies to improve organizational outcomes.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:

• 3-7 years of experience in data governance, analytics, information management, or a related field.
• A strong understanding of data governance frameworks, tools, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Advanced knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL) and proficiency in working with large datasets.
• Experience with data governance tools such as Collibra, Alteryx Data Governance, or others.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a data-driven mindset.
• A Bachelor's or master's degree in data science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
