Data Governance Solution Architect (Collibra Ranger Certified)
Role Overview
The Data Governance Solution Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and leading end-to-end data governance solutions that align with client needs and industry best practices. This role places a special emphasis on leveraging the Collibra platform while ensuring scalable, secure, and business-aligned data governance frameworks
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
Lead solutioning, design, and implementation of data governance frameworks using Collibra, acting as the primary technical resource for client engagements.
Develop, document, and execute client-specific data governance architectures, policies, and processes to ensure data quality, integrity, security, and regulatory compliance.
Translate complex business data requirements into practical technical solutions with a focus on Collibra platform capabilities.
Manage configuration, integration, and workflow development within Collibra, including metadata management, data cataloging, and data lineage.
Provide subject matter expertise, best practices, and evangelize Collibra adoption across client and internal teams.
Conduct client training, facilitate knowledge transfer, and generate solution documentation to support user enablement.
Stay updated on data governance trends, compliance requirements, and industry advancements to improve client solutions.
Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and engineering teams to ensure deliverables are aligned with enterprise standards and client expectations.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
Active Collibra Ranger Certification.
Minimum 5 years' experience in data governance, metadata management, or data architecture, with hands-on experience implementing Collibra solutions.
Demonstrated understanding of data governance frameworks, data stewardship, regulatory compliance, and the data lifecycle.
Experience integrating Collibra with other data management platforms (such as Snowflake, AWS, Azure, Informatica).
Proficiency with Collibra APIs, workflow development (BPMN), and scripting languages (such as Groovy or JavaScript).
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous consulting or solution architect experience implementing Collibra for multiple clients or large enterprises.
Experience with enterprise deployments of Collibra in regulated industries.
