We are seeking a Data Entry Executive who will be responsible for entering information from paper documents into our database. The ideal candidate should possess computer proficiency, fast typing skills, and strong attention to detail. Reporting to a data manager or senior team member, you must adhere to data confidentiality principles.
Job Responsibilities:
Input data from paper documents into computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners.
Enter customer-provided data accurately.
Create error-free spreadsheets with large amounts of data.
Verify data accuracy by comparing it with the source documents.
Update existing data.
Retrieve requested data from the database or electronic files.
Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation.
Organize and sort paperwork after entering data to prevent loss.
Requirements and Skills:
Demonstrated experience as a data entry clerk.
Must be available to login early mornings as per requirement.
Fast typing skills, with a preference for knowledge of touch typing.
Proficiency in word processing tools and spreadsheets (e.g., MS Office Word, Excel).
Familiarity with office equipment, computer hardware, and peripheral devices.
Basic understanding of databases.
Strong command of both written and oral English, along with customer service skills.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification required.
