Job Description

Core responsibilities

Inventory management:

Monitor and control daily inventory levels for both raw materials and finished goods.

Record keeping:

Maintain accurate inventory records, update databases, and prepare reports on stock levels and transactions.

Auditing and reconciliation:

Conduct regular stock audits, perform cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies.

Logistics coordination:

Liaise with logistics teams and carriers to schedule and track shipments, prepare shipping documentation, and address shipping issues.

Supplier management:

Coordinate with suppliers for incoming inventory, monitor their performance, and ensure quality control checks are performed on incoming goods.

Process improvement:

Identify inefficiencies in inventory and shipping operations and implement solutions to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.

Quality control:

Implement quality control measures and inspection checks for all incoming and outgoing inventory.

Forecasting:

Monitor sales and forecasts to ensure adequate stock levels and prevent shortages or overstocking.
