accurate and timely entry of patient and operational data
into the Hospital Information System (HIS) or other databases, helping ensure smooth administrative and clinical workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately enter
patient records
, billing details, lab results, and other hospital data into computer systems.
Maintain and update digital files and databases for different hospital departments.
Ensure
data accuracy and confidentiality
at all times.
Verify and cross-check data from source documents before entering.
Prepare and generate reports as required by the department or hospital administration.
Coordinate with departments like billing, diagnostics, front office, and medical records for data collection.
Assist in maintaining backups and records of entered data.
Escalate any discrepancies or system issues to supervisors promptly.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Graduate in any discipline (Science/Commerce/Arts).
Good typing speed (Minimum 25-40 WPM)
with high accuracy.
Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word) and computer systems.
Familiarity with
Hospital Information Systems (HIS)
is an added advantage.
Ability to work in a team and follow instructions accurately.
Good communication and coordination skills.
High attention to detail and data integrity.
Work Conditions:
Hospital-based role with
rotational shifts
if required.
May be posted in various departments like
billing, lab, OPD, IPD, medical records
, etc.
Must maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive data and patient information.
Preferred Skills:
