We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Data Entry Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data across various systems and platforms. This role requires a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
Enter and update data into databases, spreadsheets, and systems with a high level of accuracy
Verify data by comparing it to source documents
Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested
Review data for errors or deficiencies; correct any incompatibilities
Maintain and update records ensuring data integrity and confidentiality
Prepare reports and perform regular backups to ensure data preservation
Work closely with other departments to collect and manage data effectively
Scan and print documents as needed
Follow company policies and procedures regarding data management
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional computer training or certification is a plus
Proven experience as a Data Entry Operator or similar position
Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and data entry software
Excellent typing speed and accuracy
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
Basic understanding of databases and data analysis tools is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a similar industry (civil)
Knowledge of office equipment such as scanners and printers
