Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Data Entry Operator to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering, managing, and updating data related to shipment, billing, transport documentation, and operational records in the system.
Key Responsibilities:
Enter, update, and maintain accurate data in company software systems and databases.
Prepare and manage transport-related documentation such as LR, invoice, POD, e-way bills, etc.
Ensure timely and correct billing entries and coordination with the accounts team.
Verify data for accuracy and completeness and rectify any discrepancies.
Coordinate with operations, dispatch, and accounts departments for seamless data flow.
Maintain physical and digital records of all logistics documents.
Generate reports as required by management.
Handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualification: Graduate in any discipline.
Proven experience of 1-2 years in data entry, preferably in the logistics or transport sector.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and logistics/ERP software (if any).
Fast typing speed with attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of logistics/transport documentation.
Familiarity with GST invoice, e-way bill generation, and POD handling.
