Key Responsibilities

• As Spark developer you will key contributor for in design & development towards a scalable solution for a Jio Ads product.
• You will develop spark streaming & analytics services for various types of data.
• Apart from new enhancements in the product, You will be contribute for workflow optimizations, data optimizations to adhere to the KPIs of the product.
• Work with stakeholders such as Product managers, Tech leads and/or Architect, Service Layer engineers to ensure end-to-end requirements are developed.
• You will contribute to mentor junior members to ramp up technically as needed.
• You will also adhere to process set by the group for SDLC, Agile methodologies and maintain the relevant artefacts. Mentor / guide the juniors on these aspects as well.

General Qualifications:

• BE/BTech/MCA/MTech/MSC with 6-10 years of experience in Server-side programming in Scala using Apache Spark with most of the experience in design & implementation of Spark Streaming, data analytics and data engineering.

Technical Skills

• Programming experience in Scala is needed. Experience in Java, Python also will have an advantage.
• Apart from good technical and being hands on in coding, working experience to design modules, document the design and guide junior members is important criteria.
• Experience using Apache Spark, PySpark and specifically having working experience in Spark Streaming is needed. Apache kafka is also important.
• Should have worked writing services using distributed computing & should have optimized Apache Spark jobs to process real-time streaming data or write batch jobs.
• Should have worked with at least one of No SQL databases (e.g. Druid, Cassandra, MongoDB, elastic DB) and at least one of RDBMS (e.g. MySQL).
• Working experience to use cache such as Redis or any alternate cache will advantage.

Skills Required
