Primary Responsibilities:

• Coordinate activities with other technical and functional areas as required
• Perform the day to day functions such as running of existing programs, applications, jobs, reviewing logs for errors, writing or editing software and code, performing testing activities, and updating documentation
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years in supporting the Big Data Technologies
• Experience on Big Data Technology
• Experience working on API's
• Working experience on DevOps tools
• Working experience on Jenkins
• Working knowledge in on Hadoop Administration
• Working knowledge of Hadoop, MapReduce, Hive, HBase, Oozie, Spark
• Strong knowledge on Hive, HBase Oozie and Kafka
• Basic knowledge of the Agile and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes
• Proficient on Hadoop Administration
• Strong in SQL,UNIX and able to write complex queries at his/her own
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and data analysis abilities
• Ability to co-ordinate with people on multiple streams

Preferred Qualifications:

• Understanding of Talend
• Hands-on experience on navigation of Unix file system and profiling large data files
• Healthcare domain knowledge
• Java, Python scripting knowledge
• Ability to work collaboratively in global project with a positive team spirit and ensure team work & coordination
• Flexible with the working hours as he/she needs to closely work with the US counterparts
