As a Data Engineering Lead , you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing scalable data architectures, data pipelines, and data platforms to support our analytics and business intelligence initiatives. You will lead a team of data engineers and collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into efficient solutions. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the end-to-end data lifecycle, ensuring data quality, optimizing data retrieval processes, and implementing best practices in data governance.
Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers in building and maintaining robust data pipelines and architectures.
• Design and implement data models, ETL processes, and data integration solutions.
• Assess business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for data solutions.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure data availability and integrity for analytics.
• Establish best practices for data governance, security, and compliance.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data processing workflows for performance and reliability.
• Stay current with industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement in data engineering practices.

Skills and Tools Required:

• Strong experience in data engineering, data architecture, and data modeling.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for data storage and processing.
• Knowledge of database technologies including SQL, NoSQL, or data warehousing solutions.
• Experience with data integration tools like Apache NiFi, Talend, or similar ETL tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration within cross-functional teams.
• Proven leadership abilities, with experience in mentoring and guiding team members.
