Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for moving data from the Archer GRC platform to the cloud, creating a robust data product that will be utilized for reporting and dashboards. This role requires expertise in data cleaning, SQL, and UNIX scripting.Key Responsibilities:

• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from the Archer GRC platform to cloud-based storage solutions.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines to ensure seamless data flow and integration.
• Clean and preprocess data using tools such as Datastage and UNIX.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data manipulation and reporting.
• Debug existing scripts and SQL queries to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Perform basic UNIX scripting tasks, including file fetching, secure file transfer, and data validation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in data cleaning and preprocessing using Datastage and UNIX.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL for data manipulation and reporting.
• Ability to quickly debug and optimize existing scripts and SQL queries.
• Basic UNIX scripting skills, including file operations and secure file transfer.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and data integration techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
