POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines that support analytics, machine learning, and business intelligence across the organization. You will be responsible for leading a team of data engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation, and ensuring the successful implementation of scalable data solutions that align with the
PVH
Data Powerhouse
strategy.
You will work closely with data architects, analysts, and business leaders to ensure that our data platforms meet the organization's evolving needs while maintaining high standards of data governance, security, and performance. Your leadership will be instrumental in guiding the team towards best practices in cloud-based data engineering, DevOps, and agile methodologies.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines using
Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Delta Lake, and PySpark
.
Implement best practices for
data modeling, transformation, and storage
within cloud-based environments.
Work with
senior engineers and business stakeholders
to understand data requirements and support scalable solutions.
Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows to
ensure reliability, performance, and cost efficiency
.
Assist in
data governance, security, and compliance
efforts by following established policies.
Contribute to
documentation
, including data flow processes and troubleshooting guides.
Support
automation and CI/CD pipeline
initiatives to improve data pipeline efficiency.
Stay updated on
emerging technologies
and provide input on improving data infrastructure.
Collaborate with
cross-functional teams
, including Data Science, Product, and IT, to enable data-driven decision-making.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Experience:
Training in
Computer Science
or a related degree, or equivalent professional experience.
6+ years of experience developing SQL scripts
and procedures to process data
3+ years of experience developing in Python
and familiarity with software engineering best practices (test-driven design, object-oriented programming).
Experience with
batch processing
data pipelines
Passion for

Experience

with diverse engineering teams and stakeholders, collaborating and negotiating across teams

ENVIRONMENT:
This global role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Domestic and international travel may be required.
