Summary: As a Data Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain data solutions that facilitate data generation, collection, and processing. Your typical day will involve creating data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and implementing ETL processes to effectively migrate and deploy data across various systems, contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of data management within the organization. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. - Facilitate knowledge sharing and training sessions to enhance team capabilities. - Monitor and evaluate the performance of data solutions to ensure optimal functionality. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in MicroStrategy Business Intelligence. - Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and architecture. - Experience with data modeling and database design. - Familiarity with SQL and data querying techniques. - Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards. - Strong experience with MicroStrategy Administration (I-Server, Web, Developer). - Proficient in Command Manager, Workstation, Object Manager, and Enterprise Manager. - Understanding of data warehousing concepts (star schema, SCD, fact/dimension). - Knowledge of Linux/Windows server environments. - Experience with LDAP/SAML/AD integration. - Experience with performance tuning and caching strategies. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in MicroStrategy Business Intelligence. - This position is based in Chennai. - A 15 years full time education is required.
