As a Data Engineer, you will build robust data pipelines, optimize cloud infrastructure, and empower the business with reliable, insightful, and timely data. You will help shape high-impact data platforms that drive strategic decision-making across the organization.

What you will be doing:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL and data pipelines using Python, SQL, and Snowflake or similar platforms. Build efficient data ingestion, storage, and modelling solutions (including Facts/Dimensions) with strong focus on performance and cost optimization. Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries for transformation, aggregation, and analytics over large datasets. Develop cloud-native data workflows using AWS services such as S3, MSK, and Lambda. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for provisioning and managing AWS resources. Create, enhance, and maintain dashboards that provide actionable business insights. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment using Jira, participating in Scrum ceremonies and PI planning. Ensure code quality through GitLab version control and CI/CD best practices. Troubleshoot and debug issues across APIs, pipelines, dashboards, and cloud infrastructure.

What we are looking for from you:

Essential:

Strong hands-on experience in Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouse platforms. Solid expertise in Python, SQL, ETL development, and data pipeline architecture. Experience with AWS services, data workflows, and Terraform-based IaC. Knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MSSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, etc. Experience creating and maintaining dashboards in Tableau or Power BI. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Desirable:

Experience with DBT for data transformation pipelines. Understanding of cost optimization and query performance tuning in cloud data platforms. Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
