Data Engineer - Microsoft Fabric

Experience

: 4 to 6 years with at least 1 year with Microsoft Fabric

Role:

The data engineer will design, develop, and optimize data pipelines, reporting solutions, and analytics frameworks using Microsoft Fabric. You will collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing analytics solutions.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to gather analytics requirements.

Build data solutions with Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory, OneLake, Synapse, Power BI).

Develop and optimize pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and integration.

Create and maintain semantic models and datasets for reporting.

Ensure compliance with best practices for performance, governance, and security of Fabric solutions.

Support migration projects and conduct proof-of-concepts.

Create and maintain documentation related to ETL processes, data flows, and data mappings.

Guide and train client teams on Fabric adoption.

Skills Required:

4-5 years of experience in data analytics, BI, or cloud platforms.

1+ year hands-on in Microsoft Fabric, including:

a. Data Factory & OneLake

b. Synapse in Fabric

c. Power BI semantic models and reporting

Strong SQL and data modelling skills.

Experience with ETL/ELT and performance tuning.

Familiarity with Azure and cloud data platforms.

Strong communication and client-facing skills.

Experience with Azure Data Stack (ADF, Synapse, Databricks).

Knowledge of governance, security, and compliance.

Consulting/IT services experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
