Discover the Role

We are looking for a Data Engineer with 3-5 years of experience, strong in SSIS and SQL Server, to support our on-premise DWH migration to Azure. Post-migration, the role will focus on building and enhancing our Azure Data Platform using ADF, ADLS, Databricks, and related Azure services.

Key Responsibilities

Development of SSIS packages. Handle different data sources for data ingestion, cleansing and data processing. (API calls, Sharepoint lists, xml, xlsx, csv) Understanding Business processes and existing ecosystem Migrate on-premises SSIS/SQL Server data warehouses to Azure. Modernise SSIS ETL workflows using Azure Data Factory. Build scalable ingestion and transformation pipelines in Azure Data Factory and Databricks. Work with Azure Data Lake (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers) and Synapse/SQL. Perform data validation, quality checks, and optimise performance. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. Collaborate with architecture and analytics teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Key Requirements

Strong experience in SQL Server, SSIS, ETL, performance tuning. Hands-on with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL/Synapse. Understanding of DWH concepts and Medallion architecture. Knowledge of Git and CI/CD (Azure DevOps). Good communication and problem-solving skills
