Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join an on-site engineering team in Goregaon, Mumbai. This role is ideal for hands-on engineers who design, build, and operate scalable, production-grade data pipelines and analytical platforms that serve machine learning, BI, and real-time streaming use cases.

Role & Responsibilities:

Translate functional and non-functional requirements into effective designs anddevelopment specifications. Responsible for transforming Data into - > Information -> Knowledge - > BusinessDecisions Delivers data warehouse, data mart and dimensional models for Analytics Centre ofExcellence. Responsible for streamlining dataflow pipelines across various programs and products. Responsible for identifying trends and patterns in data leading to increasedeffectiveness of digital programs. Responsible for Data related documentation and visual communications. Design, develop, and support Snowflake services and warehouse. Document data processes, pipelines, and data model designs. Support and troubleshoot data pipeline issues and performance bottlenecks.

Required Qualifications: (Education, Technical Skills/Knowledge):

4-6 years of experience in data engineering or related field. Strong SQL skills and experience working with large, complex datasets. Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including Snowflake SQL, SnowSight, andSnowpipes. Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling (e.g.,using Kimball methodology). Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines using tools like Azure DataFactory or similar. Familiarity with cloud data platforms and services (Azure, AWS, or GCP). Exposure to data lake storage and medallion architecture principles (bronze, silver, goldlayers). Basic understanding of data quality, governance, and version control.

Solid English written and verbal communication skills. Able to engage other leaders to understand strategy, articulate options, evaluate trade-offs and influence key decisions. Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills. Inquisitive nature & self-starter who can implement with minimal guidance. Ability to communicate complex information to technical and non-technicalstakeholders. Strong desire in learning new technologies and methodologies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,400,000.00 per year
