Data Engineer will be a part of an international team that designs, develops and delivers new applications for Koch Industries. Koch Industries is a privately held global organization with over 120,000 employees around the world, with subsidiaries involved in manufacturing, trading, and investments. Koch Global Service India (KGSI) is being developed in India to extend its IT operations, as well as act as a hub for innovation in the IT function. As KTC rapidly scales up its operations in India, it's employees will get opportunities to carve out a career path for themselves within the organization. This role will have the opportunity to join on the ground floor and will play a critical part in helping build out the Koch Global Service India (KGSI) over the next several years. Working closely with global colleagues would provide significant international exposure to the employees.

Our Team

The Enterprise Advanced Analytics team at Georgia Pacific is focused on creating an enterprise capability around data lakes for operational and commercial data as well as helping businesses develop, deploy, manage monitor predictive and prescriptive models to create business value in the areas of manufacturing, operations, supply chain and other key areas

What You Will Do

Provide support for production applications and pipelines - daily maintenance, monitoring, problem resolution and internal customer and development support. Implement solutions that improve the reliability and completeness of our automated data collection. Provide an operations focused mindset, with the ability to test, validate, tune, and implement performance and resource optimization improvements across multiple AWS services and environments. Develop scripting automations to eliminate manual tasks and enhance processes. Work hands-on with AWS services like EC2, Lambdas, Glue, Redshift, S3, etc. and proficiency in SQL and Kubernetes to support and optimize existing infrastructure. Should be part of on call support on rotational basis. The employee will be part of rotational shifts.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Bachelor's Degree in IT or Engineering with 4+ industry experience Experience with AWS, Python and SQL. Experience with AVEVA PI platform or other time-series data historian Proven ability to work directly with peers and internal customers Proven ability to create and maintain clearly written technical, user, and system documentation Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

What Will Put You Ahead

AWS Certification - Professional or equivalent certifications. Good knowledge of AVEVA PI application suite. Awareness of ISA-95 standards Experience with programming, scripting, and web development tools - Angular, Web API, .NET, SQL, Power shell
