Role Overview - Data Engineer

We are looking for a

Data Engineer

to join our R&D team and make critical contributions to our product and solution development efforts. You will work closely with our team to build and deploy cutting-edge AI/ML systems and agents that form the backbone of our product and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

? Understand the company's business and research goals and contribute to the development of our product by actively participating in brainstorming, coding, testing, and debugging activities

? Develop pipelines and workflows for data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, and deployment. Further, build and leverage AI agents to automate these workflows.

? Explore and analyze large multimodal datasets to extract meaningful insights and identify patterns that can be leveraged for solution development

? Evaluate relevant open source technologies that align with the products' goals and objectives, understand implementation challenges and propose solutions and improvements

? Maintain comprehensive documentation of research findings, implementation strategies, and integration processes

About You

? Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science Engineering or associated programs (Data Science, AI/ML etc.)

? 0 to 2 years of experience in data engineering

? Proficiency in Python (Particularly in Pyspark, Pandas)

? Experience or knowledge of building scalable web scraping pipelines is essential

? Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure and familiarity with big data processing technologies such as Spark, Spark streaming, Kafka is preferred

? Understanding of common AI/ML libraries and frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow

? Experience with building AI agents, LLM-based workflows, RAG systems will be an added advantage

? A resourceful engineer willing to experiment and work in an ambiguous, early stage, fast-changing environment
