DESCRIPTION The Amazon Just Walk Out Analytics (JWOA) Team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. Deliver on data architecture projects and implementation of next generation BI solutions. 2. Manage AWS resources including EC2, RDS, Redshift, Kinesis, EMR, Lambda etc. 3. Build and deliver high quality data architecture and pipelines to support business analyst, data scientists, and customer reporting needs. 4. Interface with other technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from a wide variety of data sources. 5. Continually improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service support for customers. We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations: Bengaluru, KA, IND BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 5+ years of data engineering experience - Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines - Knowledge of distributed systems as it pertains to data storage and computing - Expert-level proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions - Experience with non-relational databases / data stores (object storage, document or key-value stores, graph databases, column-family databases) - Knowledge of software engineering best practices across the development life cycle, including agile methodologies, coding standards, code reviews, source management, build processes, testing, and operations
