This is our opportunity.Were looking for a talented Data Engineer to join our team on a 6-month remote contract based in India. In this role, youll play a critical part in designing, maintaining, and optimizing our data pipeline architecture. Youll implement best practices for data warehouse design and ensure our ETL processes run efficiently and reliably as we scale.Key Responsibilities:Manage ELT processes using Stitch, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshootingMaintain and update AWS Data Migration Service (DMS) tasks for data replication from PostgreSQL to Redshift, with emphasis on Change Data Capture (CDC) implementationsDesign, implement, and optimize data models within our Redshift data warehouse following best practicesDevelop and maintain data transformation pipelines using Python, dbt, AWS Lambda, and DagsterCreate and maintain data marts for various business domainsSupport containerized applications running on AWS EKS (Kubernetes)Collaborate with engineering team to ensure data quality and accessibilityRequired Skills & ExperienceStrong understanding of data warehouse concepts and dimensional modelingProficiency with PostgreSQL and Amazon RedshiftExperience with AWS Data Migration Service and Change Data Capture methodologiesHands-on experience with ELT/ETL tools, particularly StitchProficiency in Python programming for data transformation and pipeline developmentExperience with dbt for data transformations and testingFamiliarity with workflow orchestration tools, specifically DagsterKnowledge of Apache Superset for data visualizationUnderstanding of containerization concepts, Kubernetes, and AWS EKSStrong SQL skills for complex data manipulations and optimizationsAbility to implement and maintain efficient data pipeline architecturesWorking at KojoSalary: Your salary will be dependent upon many factors, including your experience level, skillset, market dynamics and balancing internal equity relative to other Kojo employees.
