Summary - An exciting opportunity for Core Python developers to join a high-impact Catastrophe Modeling Tech Team, focusing on hard-core coding, data engineering, and cloud-based automation using Python, SQL, PySpark, and Azure while working with global stakeholders.
Location - Mumbai

Key Responsibilities

• Develop production-grade Python code handling large-scale datasets similar to data engineering workloads.
• Design, build, and optimize ETL pipelines using Python, PySpark, and SQL.
• Develop, test, and deploy analytics solutions on Azure Cloud using Posit Connect.
• Write, modify, and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for performance and scalability.
• Use GitHub for version control, code reviews, and collaborative development.
• Work closely with CAT modeling teams and UK stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Requirements * 4+ years of strong hands-on experience in Core Python development with heavy coding exposure.

• Solid experience with SQL, including stored procedures and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with ETL pipelines and large datasets.
• Working knowledge of PySpark and Azure Cloud services.
• Experience using GitHub and deploying applications to production environments.

Willingness to work in UK shifts from the Mumbai location.
