About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical

Business Data Analyst

to join our dynamic fintech team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, dashboard creation, and trend identification, with deep expertise in

Power BI

and

SQL

. You will play a critical role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain

Power BI dashboards and reports

to visualize business performance and KPIs. Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business growth and optimization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Finance, Operations, etc.) to understand data needs and deliver insights. Write complex

SQL queries

to extract, manipulate, and validate data from various sources. Monitor data quality and integrity, ensuring accuracy and consistency across reports. Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner. Support ad-hoc analysis and reporting requests from business units.

Qualifications

Minimum

3 years of experience

in a data analysis or business intelligence role. Proven expertise in

Power BI

- including DAX, data modeling, and dashboard/report creation. Strong proficiency in

SQL

- ability to write and optimize complex queries. Experience working in the

fintech industry

or with financial data is a strong advantage. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google BigQuery). Knowledge of data governance and compliance in financial services.
