Overview:

As a Data Engineering Architect specializing in Snowflake, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust data pipelines, managing data migration projects, and providing pre-sales support to our clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of data solutions that meet business requirements.
Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:Data Pipeline Design: Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines to ingest, process, and store large volumes of data in Snowflake. Implement ETL/ELT processes to ensure data quality and integrity. Data Migration: Lead data migration projects from on-premises or other cloud platforms to Snowflake. Develop migration strategies, including data mapping, transformation, and validation processes. Architecture and Best Practices: Define and implement best practices for data architecture, data modeling, and data governance within Snowflake. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure alignment with business goals. Pre-Sales Support: Assist the sales team in pre-sales activities, including technical presentations, solution demonstrations, and proposal development. Engage with clients to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions leveraging Snowflake. Collaboration and Leadership: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders, to deliver data-driven solutions. Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. 10 to 15 years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on data architecture and pipeline design. Strong expertise in Snowflake, including data warehousing, data modeling, and performance tuning. Experience with data migration projects, including knowledge of ETL/ELT tools and methodologies. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data integration tools (e.g., Apache NiFi, Talend, Informatica). Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Proven experience in pre-sales support and client engagement is a plus.
