We are looking for an experienced Data Architect to design and scale high-performance, enterprise-grade database systems that power mission-critical applications. You will play a key role in shaping our data infrastructure strategy across multi-location and multi-tenant environments, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-availability database architectures
Lead end-to-end architecture for PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and Graph DB systems
Optimize and tune databases for large-scale, distributed applications
Define and enforce data modeling, governance, and security standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver real-time analytics and operational support
Support disaster recovery, replication, and failover strategies for 24x7 systems
Drive innovation in database design to meet evolving business and technical needs
Key Skills & Qualifications
10+ years of experience in data architecture, database engineering, or related roles
Proven expertise in MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and Graph DB
Strong background in scaling, performance-tuning, and distributed database systems
Experience working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
In-depth knowledge of data governance, compliance, and security best practices
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Certifications in MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or Cloud Database Architecture are an advantage
Location: Pune and Mumbai
