We are seeking an experienced

Data Architect

to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing data architectures and workflows for large-scale applications. This role requires working closely with stakeholders to ensure efficient, secure, and scalable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement

end-to-end data architecture solutions

for enterprise applications. Define

data modeling standards, frameworks, and best practices

. Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable data models. Optimize

data pipelines, ETL processes, and storage solutions

. Ensure

data governance, security, and compliance

with organizational policies. Conduct performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization of data platforms. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.

Required Skills

6-7 years of experience in

data architecture, data modeling, and database design

. Strong knowledge of

SQL / NoSQL databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, Cassandra)

. Hands-on experience with

data integration, ETL tools, and data pipelines

. Expertise in

cloud-based data platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)

. Proficiency in

data warehousing, OLAP/OLTP concepts

, and

performance optimization

. Understanding of

data governance, metadata management, and security practices

.

Good to Have

Experience with

Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka)

. Exposure to

machine learning data pipelines

. Knowledge of

modern data architecture patterns (Data Lake, Data Mesh, Data Fabric)
