Designation:

Data Annotator

Individual contributor

Annotate and label video/audio/image data (e.g., bounding boxes, events, segments) based on detailed guidelines. Sanitize and preprocess data (e.g., clip selection, format conversion) for training pipelines. Collaborate with ML engineers to refine annotation standards and improve pipeline efficiency. Conduct quality checks--review and correct annotations to maintain data integrity. Assist in evaluating model outputs and flagging edge cases for retraining. Apply statistical techniques for data analysis.

Skills Required

Technical Skills

Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistent, high-quality annotations. Basic familiarity with video/audio data formats (e.g., MP4, MXF) and media processing is a plus. Good computer literacy and comfort with annotation tools (e.g., CVAT, Label Studio). Exposure to YOLO, Python, TensorFlow, Keras, or media decoding/processing libraries is a plus. Basic understanding of ML/video analytics concepts.

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with quick adaptation to new technologies, methodologies, and systems. Self-starter, having positive attitude. Team player.

Qualification

Bachelor's degree preferably in Comp. Sc. or related field. Consistently good academic record having minimum 70% throughout (10th std onwards)
