About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented

Data Analytics & Mining Intern

to join our team. This role provides hands-on exposure to working with large datasets, extracting valuable insights, and supporting AI/ML projects through data preparation, transformation, and analysis.

This internship is ideal for students or recent graduates with a passion for data, analytics, and problem-solving. You will work alongside experienced data scientists and engineers to contribute meaningfully to real-world business and AI applications.

Key Responsibilities

Collect, clean, and preprocess structured and unstructured data from multiple sources. Apply data mining techniques to identify patterns, trends, and correlations. Support the development of predictive models and algorithms. Collaborate with the AI/ML team for feature engineering and dataset preparation. Use tools such as SQL, Python, R, or Excel for data extraction and analysis. Document data workflows, processes, and results for knowledge sharing. Assist in building dashboards and visual reports for business insights. Ensure compliance with data privacy, confidentiality, and security standards.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong understanding of

data mining concepts, statistics, and databases

. Hands-on experience with

Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn), R, or SQL

. Familiarity with

data visualization tools

(Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib). Problem-solving mindset with strong analytical skills. Good communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work with large datasets in a systematic and detail-oriented way.

Eligibility Criteria

Pursuing or completed a

Bachelor's/Master's degree

in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. Prior exposure to

data analysis, data mining, or machine learning

(academic projects/internships preferred). Passion for learning and applying new data-driven techniques.
