Job Description

Key Responsibilities:




Lead migration of WJI data and infrastructure to BigQuery as the sole dedicated data engineer on the team. (WJI is a Java-based consumer of warehouse data.)


Own migration workstreams and resolve technical challenges independently.


Document processes and share knowledge with the broader team.


Collaborate with teammates in Sri Lanka.


Required Skills:




Expertise in Spark jobs (Scala).


Experience with cloud warehousing (especially GCP/BigQuery).


Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.


Ability to work independently and proactively.


Commitment to high-quality documentation and knowledge transfer and collaboration.
